Our Saturday Adventure

Last Saturday we packed up bright and early to head to Selmer to do our yard sale in our normal spot in the parking lot across from Atzimba's. By the time we unloaded most of our stuff, a policeman drove up and informed us that we were not allowed to do yard sales in city limits without a permit. And to top that off, they were not giving people permits! So, we had to think of another plan to sale our stuff. Someone thought of going to Tull's and setting up in their parking lot, it was at least closer to town than coming all the way home. So, Joy went and asked them while Gannah and I set up signs to hopefully lure some people our direction. Tull's was fine with us setting up, and was very sweet about us using their facilities.
Despite being cold and slow, we had a good time being together.Gannah managed to make $60, and I made $40.
Special thanks to Joy and Ruth for helping me set up and sticking out the long day!

We have decided that this Saturday, we are going to try another location! We are going to the flea market in Ripley MS. Its the oldest flea market in the states and covers 50 acres. So, it should and hopefully will be a good day for us!!
